as cozy as it was at times, thank you Jesus, Mary and Joseph that winter is (seemingly) OVER

i am desperate for sunshine and flowers blooming and everyone’s mood enhancing by 70%

even so, winter deserves to have its moment, so here is my january – february recap

january

so much happened in such a short amount of time — we celebrated Michigan winning the NATTYYYYY, had our girlies day out, introduced james to twilight, won my fantasy football league, enjoyed one snow day, hosted a Frasier party for Sydney’s bday, celebrated Beth & Nick’s engagement, went to PETLAND AND HELD PUPPIES, and i celebrated Katie’s bachelorette party in rootin’ tootin’ nashvegas

february

i went to HAWAII the first week of february, but that will get it’s own post :’)

after hawaii, i celebrated valentine’s day (with two bouquets of flowers this year !!) the girlies and i went on the ultimate girls weekend to Columbus for the AG Place, the nicest dinner of my life where we saw JOSEPH BURROW walked past us, a beautiful German Catholic church, and a 32 room bookstore

then i celebrated court bort’s birthday, made fondue for the first time for hygge night, became an actual liverpool fan, and made my big summer plans

thank you winter, for the ways you still warmed my heart in the cold

thank you for everyone here & everyone who i don’t take pictures with that love me & cheer me on every day

Jesus, i surrender this spring to You, please take care of everything, according to Your will, not mine, and i trust in You

(and please let there be so many flowers and Cadbury eggs and reasons to go outside but not too many bugs okay thanks)
